My Dear Sister Friend:

:offtopic2:

This post is to commemorate the activist - freedom fighter -- Yuri-Kochiyama. Start a new topic if you want to discuss Morgan Freeman :10500:

smh.

R.I.F. = Reading is Fundamental.

Death of a Prophet is a 1981 docu-movie based on the last days of Malcolm X, starring Morgan Freeman as Malcolm.

AND Yuri Kochiyama appears in this movie as HERSELF.

If you'd taken the time to READ my whole post, you'd know that my post is ON TOPIC. This woman cradled Malcolm's head as he died and this movie includes her.

Reading is comprehensively fundamental. I am impressed by "Yuri Kochiyama"s passion and wanted to share her passing. If you ain't talking about that or finding other documentation about her contributionss to activisim then anything else that you bring to this topic issa :piano:

In your first post you referenced Yuri Kochiyama cradling Malcolm's head as he died and posted related photos.

And I posted a docu-movie titled "Dead Of a Prophet: The Last Days of Malcolm X" which also features her in it so any could see/hear her in the flesh.

smh..... Lord, my People, my People, sometimes.

My Dear Sister, Cherry Blossom:

Your response clearly indicates that you had no idea who Yuri Kochiyama was before this very nano-second. Therefore,

continue posting :offtopic2: while I become more enlightened about this "Great" Lady who was obscure to the

"thinking/knowing" world that we both reside inside.

What exactly is your ideology?!
I'll be honest. I like black culture forums, so I've signed up for this one, BX, and Lipstick Alley. I won't post too often, only on things that I'm really interested in. Nice to meet you. :)
