The stagnation and fear only comes about when the acquisition of power is done in a immoral and dirty manner. IOW if your position was artificially created via superior weaponry and lies then that power is based on fear and confusion and not true respect. When you lack true respect its just a matter of time before your reign will come to an end. There's a stagnation and fear that always comes when one demographic is in power too long. That's probably what's happening with the rise of the far-right, white, gun-touters and the far-left, white safe-spacers. One side is scared so they've gotten aggressive and hateful, and the other is scared so they want to hide from everything that offends them. Haters and wimps on both sides.
It's a totally blanket, generalizing opinion, but I think the country would be better off with mostly people who aren't white in charge. We whites have had our turn and something is going rotten with us - not like we're all bad people but there's a distancing from reality. I think when blacks, hispanics, Asians, start dominating business and government in the U.S. and knock us off our feet and make us face our own racism and arrogance and ignorance it will be better for everyone, including white people (in the long run) - we'll be poorer and out of power but I think we'll be more in touch with some human part of us that we've lost from having been the group on top dominating for so long.
When black people say white people don't understand racism, that really is true - there's something black people who have suffered under racism understand about humans and the world on a deep level that we white people simply can not get. I think it gives black people more of a right and more of the wisdom the world needs in leaders right now. Honestly, I want black people to seize power from us. I think we need it.
