Been awhile
Much water under the bridge
Flash floods still surprising
At this stage
Late in the game

Looking for a place to sit
So many new faces
Oh and wonderous words
To direction my attention
Away from me

Thanks for saving me a set
And for the wonderful refreshment
No one makes Lemon Aid
Like Destee's place
And I can't wait for dinner....

but poetry at best is never numb

I cry out...hear my voice as it echoes,
My words flow over moutains and spread down into valleys and meadows.
