the near north
when i woke this morning
i found that i had weeped
tear drops dampened my pillows
as sweat marks stained my sheets
i thought it had been a dream
in which i cried the whole night through
gut-wrenching pains racked my body
whenever i thought of you

when i woke this morning
my eyes were a puffy red
my body was very sore
as i pulled myself from bed
i tried to remember my dream
in which i cried the whole night through
but all that i could capture
were my sorrowful thoughts of you

when i woke this morning
i vowed that i'd be standing strong
to let go of this pain
so my heart and soul could move on
to walk outside my door
and feel the sun upon my face
to gaze upon GOD's creatures
for, this new day, i'd embrace

after journeying through this day
i've held that feeling close at hand
i know that i can get over yesterday
in my heart, i know i can

now i lay back down to sleep
i pray it's a restful night
in which i sleep the whole night through
and wake to a blissful, morning sight

when i wake tomorrow
i'll begin my lonely journey, anew
to put this aching pain behind me
and forget that i did ever know you

Was it...Is it that bad. Deep i must say. do what you gotta do. I'm truly loving this...and surely feeling it. I couldn't have said it better...I probably wouldn't have said it at all. Although I'd probably be thinking it. Okay i'm rambling.

Anyways...looking forward to some more.

I am looking for participants in a study to share their experiences as former African American males served as ED/EBD/BD in the southeast. Participants ages 18-35 will be interviewed and given the opportunity to express their thoughts, feelings and impressions of their school years. If interested or for more information please contact me directly. Thanks, Cheryl

Thank you for the welcome. I have a question. I am a doctorate student in need of participants for my study. Is it allowable to post a request for study participants. If so, this is the post that would be uploaded:
