We become that which we repeatedly do..
Frankster, you will get no argument from me. I guess we all sense something; some great source within us and all around us and as humans we feel it just has to emulate a being in our image of supreme divine powers. I don't know, but I do sense a presence all around me that I really can't explain and I have always felt that. I have read a little of the Hindu concept myself and would sometimes listen to the Mahabharata while going to sleep. I have to say it did leave me in a peaceful state but there was always something missing man. I always felt that there just has to be more and maybe there isn't any more to it than just the experience of life itself. Just the appreciation of being. Maybe just that simple.True
But the quote from Seth Speaks says basically that God is an Idea.....Does that make God Unreal or Non-existent?
If God is not a "Being" what about a Principle or Process?
God Maybe unfathomable in Her entirety?
Is it necessary for us to understand God in His entirety in order to benefit or can incremental Knowledge be profitable?
True..... or the Devil.
True very good book....Jane Roberts
One of the best concept of creation i have read is that of the Hindu concept Vishnu - the All Pervading. Creations is the Thoughts of Vishnu....Brahma being Vishnu's first Thought.
Brahma is the Creator and Vishnu is the Source of Creation.
Brahma is Awareness.
Vishnu is Pure (transcendent) Thought.
