What Are DOVE’S EYES & What Would that Look Like on a Person?
Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair;
thou hast doves' eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as
a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.
SONG OF SOLOMON 4:1.
Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair;
thou hast doves' eyes. SONG OF SOLOMON 1:15.
In the SONGS OF SOLOMON, the author, Solomon, of this amazing book in the Bible writes about a beautiful Israelite maiden of whom, through research has revealed is, ABISHAG, the very virgin that nursed the previous King David when he was unable to keep warm in his old age. Although some scholars have written and suggested that this Black skinned maiden might be the same nurse of David, however, in Chapter Six (6) of the Songs of Solomon and in the concordance, this Shulamite virgin is confirmed to be the very girl, Abishag. Furthermore, the Songs of Solomon reveals too, that she soon became married to Solomon after the death of David. So although this book in the Bible starts out and describes the Shulamite maiden to be a virgin, it also goes on to tell a complete story in that she became espoused to Solomon. So later on after this union, Solomon wrote about this girl from the first time he met her and until after they came together and, he correlated her physical presence to be a prototype of the embodiment of the Israelite people with regards to their origins and their inherited traits. In essence, she and the daughters of Israel like her became ‘THE CORNER STONE’ for the Nation of Israel. And Solomon further proves this point for the purpose of this book, by introducing the Coming Messiah after he describes the physical traits of this Shulamite Israelite girl that he also attached to the tribe of Joseph-Gilead. Solomon brings out two major traits, her hair and her eyes and much more to defined the origins and traits of the Israelite people as a whole. And through more research, it becomes obvious that the Israelite people have dominant origins that connect them to Black Africa.
Although many different kinds of people can have ‘DOVE’S EYES’, however, this trait can be seen to manifest mainly in Black African people. So therefore, I have decided to compare and contrast in order to get a deeper understanding of why this has been brought out in the Bible in relation to this Black skinned Israelite maiden. I have found that a person with (1) DOVE SHAPED EYES have eyes that are big, roundish, soft, and slightly protruding. But many Jewish people today, whether Black or lighter skinned do not have Dove shaped eyes but a combination. Also in Africa there are a lot of people that have Asian typed eyes (ie Afroasiatic) in that they have (2) ALMOND SHAPED EYES. Some people show either NARROW ALMOND SHAPED EYES, or LARGE ALMOND SHAPED EYES. And this trait can be seen to also manifest in African-typed people in Northeast Africa. Then there are the (3) EGYPTIAN EYES that are also called DOWN TURNED EYES and this is the combination eye shape, based on my research, is what many Jewish people seem to manifest in Northeast Africa and also the European Jews too. But the Original Israelites do show the DOVE SHAPED EYES that Solomon described too. Some Jewish people seem to have LARGE ROUNDED EYES that are also either, down turned or large almond shaped. Anyway, I have decided to share some picture references, especially of the DOVE SHAPED EYES because this beautiful trait has not been highlighted much today, for some reason.
That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth;
that our daughters may be as corner stones,
polished after the similitude of a palace:… PSALMS 144:12.
