People only 'think' they'd like to have a dog like Strider. Honestly though having them kind of dogs around is an overtime job unless one dulls the knife edge .
Strider came out of the womb sharp. Ten years later he still straight razor sharp.

Excellent read ogoun however I wish I was wrong in my humble opinion but I feel it's far too late for the course of our self initiated destruction is already at hand. We're no longer staring into the Abyss. We're rapidly sliding into it. I've noticed some of our new steel and glass mega city skylines with high-rises spanning 60 or more stories are literally dwarfing 17 story concrete structures and even smaller 6 story apartments and it reminds me of Blade Runners Dystopian cityscape.

This is not real but you get the point.

If there's even any remote possibility of hope for us it better start showing up within the next generation because we as a species have pretty much run our course. That's the way I see it leastways. Take care bro.

Hopium serves it's purpose SOA. Without it the wise wouldn't have a chance to get out of dodge while there's still time, the edges is the only hope with any realistic place for the survival of the human species imho. Assuming of course that there's anything special to admire about the human in the general.
So I'm with you on those dark visions of the future.
But I can play devils advocate if you like.

Did you know... Joe Biden, front runner as a Dem candidate for president has family business deals with China? Ten days after he and his son visited China the son was given one billion dollars to start a business there. That came from the Bank of China and since the government owns all banks in China, therefore the money came from the Government of China. Also Hennings (sp?) a US manufacturing company making sensitive military equipment they took to China, also involving our stealth aircraft. Now the Chinese have that information for their planes. You can look it up on Joe Biden and China, on Ask.

On the walk I realized I should give Strider his due in this space so's everyone knows who I talk about when I sez the dog........

And just goofing on each other

My quick .02 cents. He is absolutely gorgeous! I am an animal lover, always have been. I have pictures of me at 2 years old holding stray puppies in the hot sun in South Florida. I can tell from looking at his pics that Strider deserves a lot of respect. I've always had small to mid-size dogs but when my daughter brought home a Rott/Lab mix, it took one faceplant in my driveway trying to hold his leash as he rose up and jerked forward, to learn that dogs like him have power I never realized. As messed up (two front teeth knocked loose, split bottom lip, gash in hand holding leash) and in shock as I was, I couldn't be mad at him. The loving he gave me later knowing I was hurt, was priceless. Thanks for sharing Strider with us ogoun; it brightened my day.

Hi NNQueen. Any chance of you quite possibly sharing those adoring pix of you when you were a wee one holding stray doggies in the South of Florida? I mean brother ogoun willingly showed us his so maybe you think you could willingly show us yours? If I do recall correctly I believe I willingly showed mine a bit ago somewhere. I know Brother ogoun just showed Strider but methinks he is retired AIC (Mirror image) so you know how that goes. Stay blessed.
