Well, well, Donald Trump finally realized that he will look like a definite chump and big loser if he stayed in hiding.
Venturing outside for the first time since he lost the election, Trump promised new therapies and new vaccines to battle Covid-19. I’ll skip the usual B.S. crap from him and his crew of babies and go right to the adults.
I doubt very much any vaccine will be widely available this year. This is just my own opinion.
Let’s look at Pfizer’s vaccine for Covid-19 which is still in development. While it is touted to be 90% effective in preventing infections, these tests areronly a beginning. And the 90% will only be true if people who take vaccine get through the period when they are still at risk until the vaccine becomes effective.
Meanwhile, if they’re around folks who refuse to wear a mask because they think the virus is a hoax, they may become infected. Especially since health experts do not know how long that 90% protection rate will last amid a population that has been proven is too friggin’ lazy, careless or ready to be inconvenienced for taking precautions that could save lives.
Pfizer’s vaccine has to be kept at a temperature of minus 94 degrees Fahrenheit, or minus 70 degrees Celsius. I doubt many hospitals have freezers that can keep medicines that cold for any length of time. Forget pharmacies. And where are are any small or hospitals or doctors' offices going to get the money to buy or rent freezers?
It’s amazing that Trump showed his face today. I thought he was so downcast and angry that he would mope around for at least another few days. I don't think he's given up entirely his fantasy of overturning the election.
But he’s probably worried about what history books will say about him.
Well, if they’re ordered by White people who believe they’re the best this planet have to offer, then he shouldn’t worry. But if these history are authored by writers and researchers not swayed by Trump’s lies, conspiracy theories and endless gripes, he will likely be portrayed as man who failed, but thought he could away with it.
