It seems each day brings another scientific study telling you to eat this, not that—and the reverse three days later—but a new study published in the journal “Cancer Prevention Research” has officially caught our attention.

Researchers found that subjects who each day slurped down a drink made with broccolisprouts—two to three-day-old broccoli seedlings—were more likely than the placebo group to, ahem, filter out high levels of the harmful chemicals benzene and acrolein. (Benzene is associated with pollution, and both benzene and acrolein can be found in cigarette smoke.)

The Buzziest Pantry Upgrade

By Emma Aubry Roberts of Martha Stewart Living

Ever searching for foods that both nourish and thrill us, we’ve added a buzzy supplement to our chia-and-flax rotation: bee pollen. Pollen is Enemy #1 come spring, but eaten in moderation, it’s a nutrient-dense vegetarian protein source that some say can help build immunity. It holds its own in the flavor department, too: mild and slightly sweet, with a floral undertone and a soft, chalky texture.

It's been a good while, but this place has always been home. Thankful to be here.
Hi! I'm not as active on this account as I want to be. For one I tend to forget that this site exists until I check my email. Two, I'm currently in the process of building up a fine art site for Oklahoma black and native historical references. The references correlate with another site that will be a storytelling site that has not yet been produced.
Happy to be back and gaining more knowledge!
