Black People Politics : Some People don't like Obama's message to the Grassroots

As a community activist then senator,
the message of Barack Obama's succes first as a Black senator,
should make all of us realize that we must be asute, aware, and awake
about poltics, the political process,
and acutely aware of our local politics;
from PTA meetings,
community board meetings,
voter registration drives,
civic education seminars and rallies.

His presidency should make us aware of the strategy of funding politicians, via our stategizng and colective effort, across, city, state or nation

But it is his message to the black community, his actual simple statement
"GET FOCUSED AND INVOLVED IN BUILDING UP THE BLACK COMMUNITY AND COMMUNITY ACTIVISM"

that some do not like, in fact many of us do not like to focus or discuss
that, or get inolved in our communities.

Folks desire to praise him in name but not in action and seek to neglect his message,
and in all honesty, what kind of praise is that realy?

How many teenagers have we seen hanging around on street corners when they should be sitting in a classroom? How many are sitting in prison when they should be working, or at least looking for a job? How many in this generation are we willing to lose to poverty or violence or addiction? How many?"

Wouldn't focus need to be on how to acquire (or produce) stuff say food in concurrence with political participation?

And all of this is Obama's fault? I'm sure that when he became president that all of this would go away. You all need to stop...really.

he would intergect the conversation and start to talk about sewing and tailoring
