Well, santa clause never played a part in my life and he never played a part in my daughters life. My mother never lied to me or led me to believe that some "rosy cheeked european man would bring me gifts if I was good" she stated simply that she worked to hard to get me things and she wouldnt let anyone else but God take the credit for it, and sure enough, thats what I taught my girls.

Whether he was/is a pedophile or not isnt relevant to me, the issue is/should be why are parents lying to their children about (as GoddessAuset says) Satan Clause in the first place?

ETA: If parents stop lying to their children about this farce, then there would be no need to sit in his lap at your local mall.
