Supreme Court just wrote a presumption of white racial innocence into the Constitution
    Congratulations, guys! Racism is fixed!

...The thrust of Justice Samuel Alito’s opinion in Abbott v. Perez is that the “good faith” of a “state legislature must be presumed,” even when there are very serious allegations of racial gerrymandering. The facts of Perez are unusual and unlikely to repeat in the future, but Alito’s presumption of white racial innocence could have a significant impact on future cases.

Nothing less could be expected from a SCOTUS that over the course of a hand full of decades since the voting rights bill passed have been packed with federalist jurists, or in the parlance of the last 30 or so years, the originalists.
They've finally made it back to original intent.

Ya won't find me standing for no national anthem.

How The Theory Of White Privilege Leads To Socialism
The existence of ‘unearned’ opportunities or wealth is seen as such a severe critique of our system it warrants a disbelief in an idea foundational to the American dream

    By Georgi Boorman

In 1989, sociologist Peggy McIntosh penned a famous essay that propelled an ideological movement well beyond the ivory tower and into political discourse, pop culture commentary, and workplace seminars, it is now part of our modern lexicon.

White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack” listed 50 examples of struggles white people don’t usually have, or perks of being the majority race, from being able to “see people of my race widely represented” in media to never being asked “to speak for all the people of my racial group.”

That is a conversation that whites definitively need to have amongst themselves (Finally after 'only' 400 years). Yeh glory hallelujah. That they are doing so more and more is of some credit that can be given to them.
It's not exactly a parallel but that conversation they need to have is much like the conversation we've been trying to get through to our young men and women and communities about colonial mentality.

Far-right voices are frothing about a looming civil war
They apparently don't remember how well it went for them last time
    CASEY MICHEL

...While several far-right figures have been speculating about a looming U.S. break-up for some time, recent rhetoric is a marked escalation from even a few months ago, when certain historical illiterates were only calling for an “amicable divorce.”

How social media reveals America's racism

...We have noble aspirations for equality in this country, but we have never fully lived up to those goals. One reason is because the power structure has protected those of us with privilege from seeing the full, ugly truth.

How social media reveals America's racism

Without social media, white America could still comfortably delude itself about the daily risks of living as a person of color in our "free and equal" society.
