Black Poetry : pain, allow her

... to love again
...to see her reflection flow beautifully in the brooks again
with self-assurance
...to know that there's the other side of your deep river that she can
be one of few who cross and find re-definition
pain, allow her
to know the purpose of your rising heat
and that soon
the ground she walks will cool beneathe her feet if only she sees that
you, pain, you don't
hurt so bad
you are not only there to make her sad...
allow her to see that
...to live again is really your pleasure

~The hidden library...~
sometimes your depth...catches me off guard
I've seen some write to love...but never to pain
love the way you came with this...
had to read it a couple of times to completely
absorb it...and I see that sometimes the
struggle only makes one stronger, wiser...
and in the end happier...you captured
this so masterfully...and if I might use your
words....

"Classic".... :toast:

Everything has a purpose...even pain...

I'm Black on Destee, I feel at home! It's been a while! Soooo in 2004 I married my Senegalese Husband, when I first went to Senegal, I loved, it! The people were hospitable and my husband's family was very kind! Well I've been there many times now, have taken African Americans, well over 150 and it has been an amazing experience!
