Nearly 50 years after the same region of Nigeria seceded, sparking a devastating civil war, separatists are once again threatening the fragile national unity of Africa’s most populous country. Back in 1967, the federal government deployed a quarter million troops to quash the secessionist movement, while also imposing a land and sea blockade. Over a million civilians died in the nearly three years of fighting that followed, mostly from starvation ...

Few if any, African borders were established by Africans. The creation artificial African nations by the colonial powers and other outside forces is what has created all of the internal strife that African nations face today. Much of things that passes for African governance nowadays, is largely influenced and guided by non-Africans. African still have not had their own industrial revolution based on the most abundant power source known since ancient Egypt, the power of the Sun. Nigeria tried to build their whole economy on crude oil they didn't even have the technology to refine. This is the common pattern for Africans, there slowly learning how to produce value added products but still are not get full market value for their rare earth minerals and other resources found only in Africa.

Understandable, nevertheless, some born Nigerians aren't letting African leadership off the hook, as easily as you seem to be ...

Why Nigeria’s Historic Olympic Moment Proves The Love A Gutless Country Doesn’t Deserve

The first-ever Nigerian bobsled team will compete for gold

Ezinne Ukoha
Juggling Wordsmith. I have a lot to say, so bear with me

... The team is now enjoying their newfound celebrity — but for me — as a Nigerian-American — the reality of their decision to forgo the option of competing as Americans in a quest to uplift the spirits of their compatriots —demonstrates their love for a gutless country that has done nothing to earn such a gesture.
My frustration with the nation of my discontent has been documented multiple times with passionate fury and the tragic sense of longing that leads to a growing pile of disappointments that are imposing in height and depth ...

Nigeria's first-ever bobsled team prepares triumphant Olympic arrival

Jay Busbee
Yahoo Sports

... Thus was born the Nigerian bobsled team. You can make the easy comparisons to Jamaica’s entrywhere exactly does one train for the bobsled in Jamaica or Nigeria? — but in both cases, the competitors are absolutely serious, both about their own runs and about what they hope to inspire in others.

Exactly... Well said indeed.

Thanks. I say that because China is very serious about protecting their off shore investments. Since they have the largest standing conventional military on Earth standing around doing nothing there is no way they are going to depend on Nigerian security forces to protect their new Lagos-Kano railroad so now under the guise of a seven billion dollar bid Nigeria will fund the operating cost of China's construction and security of China's railroad.

1619+400=2019 Jamestown Virginia...end of slavery. (Yes modern miseducation and injustices count as slavery) But no proper reparations will be given since the amount of contributions beyond humanity transcends generations. Our people have history that is equal to trillions of dollars including Melanin research and its supernatural power.
I want my people to be aware of this dilemma regarding the upcoming election... I know politics. Yes Trump is admitting the truth about Black People building this so called country corporation (The United States). But you must understand that what they're planning on doing is to divide and conquer. This is all just for him to get re-elected. He's going to promise reparations and reneg at the last minute.
