let's put some context on it. There was a time in the not so distant past where many black women jumped on a wagon that they were being held back by their men. While that may have been true for the white women that started that movement, that didn't make it true for the black women jumping on and walking along side.
context is everything.
No, AA men have never been our enemies. And, I don't recall a time when AA women jumped on the feminist band wagon in any substantial numbers at all. If fact, y'all (AA men on this board) know a lot more about it than I do.
What IS a relevant issue to us AAs, is that WW are reaping the benefits of so-called affirmative action programs. Not AA men OR women. So, we must not fight amongst each other. I don't think we ever have. "Context IS everything."
