Black Poetry : Just another day(work flow)

Shimmering glaze upon da still
memories awaken as God's will
moving grasp soft and slow
after a day of another work flow

each day is a venture from the last
nothing new as hours pass
I look back over what was
and look above to the grace of love

How you take it in is the key
all the display often not fair
you give and take from true and fake
case ya day break break , lunch
time to go another day in a work flow

and morning came another day
"gotta get to work..." is all they say
as day after day flows into another
gotta get dem dollars...wanna make it, my brutha

but work isn't all life should be about
should achieve one thing b4 checking out
doesn't matter that thing...it's what's good for you
write a book. father a child. whatever you do, you do

but we work...and we work...and we work some mo'
ev'ryday we gear up for da daily work flow
one more adventure to add to the story
b4 i am allowed to capture my glory

Did I drop it, lose it,
or leave
it in my kids
room

At work, I know my boss has one,
no less than two or three.
Maybe if I ask nicely,
he will give one
of them
to me.....

Where my Vacation
I put it in , working hard
from day to night end

I gave you eight and some
supervisors holla go
machine continue to run run run

life more then on your job
wife and kids time we have some fun
summer time here I come
I need a break !​
