Hysteria about the Supreme Court vacancy isn't about abortionit's about reparations

...Judicial activism would proliferate in the guise of “righting historical injustices” and, in particular, redressing America’s “original sin” — slavery.

If Trump succeeds in appointing a conservative justice, for example, the court effectively would rule against any legislative efforts to have America – meaning the taxpayer – pay some $4.1 trillion to African Americans related to the impact of slavery, as David Horowitz outlines in his 2016 book, “Progressive Racism.”

Trump’s imprimatur on the Supreme Court will have a lasting impact on our nation that has nothing to do with Roe v Wade.

CNN's Toobin on lifetime Supreme Court appointments: Framers never contemplated terms lasting more than 30 years
    BY JOE CONCHA

CNN's Jeffery Toobin said late Monday that partisan fights over Supreme Court nominees have only become more intense because "people were expected to die in their 50s" when the Constitution was written.

Toobin has warned of what he sees as major consequences if a second conservative justice is confirmed to the Supreme Court under Trump, in a recent opinion column in The New Yorker, he argued that LGBT people could be barred from restaurants, gun control could be banned in all 50 states and the regulatory state could come to an end...

White House doesn’t deny report Trump made secret deal with Kennedy over retirement, replacement
It's not supposed to work like this

    AARON RUPAR

During an CNN interview on Tuesday morning, White House deputy press secretary Raj Shah did not deny an NBC report that outgoing Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy “received assurances” from President Trump that if he retired, Judge Brett Kavanaugh — one of Kennedy’s former clerks — would be nominated to be his replacement...

Democrats vow fight of a lifetime to keep Brett Kavanaugh off Supreme Court

...In fact, Democrats both on and off Capitol Hill have been plotting a multipronged strategy to accomplish what most experts have said would be impossible for a minority party in a post-filibuster age. They hope to #StopKavanaugh, as one of the movement’s newly minted hashtags would have it — and #SaveSCOTUS from shifting decisively rightward for a generation or more in the process.

Barring a quorum fight. The Dem.s don't have any leg to stand on. This is why all elections are important

Don't the Democrats just love the show. They think they're showing all kind of back bone with this dog and pony act of theirs.
Where were they when the SCOTUS stole an election for Bushit in 2000?
Where were they not much more 2 years ago when a SCOTUS seat was stolen?
Where was all this outage as they sat on their hands for 8 years as our first Black President was virtually hand cuffed even though he was only a barely left leaning centrist?
They all upset now, why? They all quietly and silently have watched from the wings as our voting rights power have been whittled away at over the years to the point of almost being counted once again as 3/5 a human.

    Now they all outraged!!!???
    Don't make me laugh.

Perhaps by quorum fight, you mean the Senate confirmation hearing, if so, it is the last dance.

But maybe by November, Kavanaugh's record exposure through the media will be so tainted, he won't get confirmed.
