ive been kind of busy this week with school and all
thought id drop this

“Harlem Nights”

So…
So you wanna be a thug, runnin the streets
I see you everyday collecting money like a bum in the streets
You wanna take the fast way out, now you makin beats
Spending your last wages on phillies, handlebars, and sweets

But you a g right, that’s what you tellin me
Are u still a g when you face a felony?
I thought you was hard and u came from the gutta
You can’t even look me in my face and you only stutta

You never stuttered, you used to make A’s in school
What made you drop hit the block instead of going to school?
Math uses to be your favorite subject, playing with numbers yeah
I guess it was women, jewelry, deuces on hummers yeah

You used to be my friend my *****
Thought we would roll to the end my *****
We was supposed to be best men my *****
Now you want to contend with me my *****

I often wondered was going through your mind
You used to able to see the future, now your blind
I wish I had an hourglass, flip it over and remake time
Believe me, I’m trying to understand your grind

You said I left you, but I’m always there
My address never changed, only my hair
My braids are gone, we used to be tight like that
In my rearview, I see you, knowing, I don’t wanna leave like that

My *****, but I gotta go, I gotta make a move
We were made to be winners, but why do we lose?
I guess you a g, I’m a let you be a g
Sometimes I gotta let loose, and you wanna be me

You used to be my friend my *****
Thought we would roll to the end my *****
We was supposed to best men my *****
Now you want to contend with me my *****

This was tight. really makes you think about how some people can go down totally different paths even though they grew up together. much love for this one.

*Black Fist raised to the Heavens

In honor of your flow

Can you hear the cry?

All in rhyme w/ the slow beat of Bata Drums

'Right On Brother!! Right On!

PEACE & MUCH RESPECT

We are in a new era. Those facts give us evidence we can reach the Melanin Tipping Point just by telling the truth. The Melanin Tipping Point is the point at which we go from healing to healed. Mchakato wa Uponyaji is the process of healing. Melanin Is Worth More Than Gold. That fact puts us in a different state mentally. It affects different people differently. What is certain is the Ubuntu paradigm is returning.
Melanin is worth more than gold. The Red, Black and Green is 100 years old. The Afric, official currency of the United States of Africa is worth over $2.

Hello Moon Child, it's been a few years since we talked. Please let me know if you can do my chart for me, thank you. I'm in transition and really could help with some interpretations.
