You being from the south, why do they say that. I've heard that before over the years. I just wanted to get some other opinions.

On why it's called the dirty south? I believe there was already a thread started on such a topic. I wouldn't know, to be honest. Everyone around me bathes, as do I.
And many believe that cleanliness is next to godliness, many southerners being Christian. So, where does dirty fit in? I have no clue. Maybe it's the police force, or dirty ole streets, lol
