Too busy hawking RSVP tickets for thousand dollar a plate dinners praising White folk.

The Whitest Blacks in Brooklyn. All proper and uppity.

And not one cussword.

Hmmm, okay, just a little niddlin and naddlin, diddlin and daddlin behind the set is all.

Shame when those that look down on the common folk get caught up in themselves. Especially Big Daddy.

Being educated doesn't make you uppity smh

Shaking your head until it falls off your shoulders doesn't change the well known fact that Ed Weinberger designed the Cosby Show as portraying Uppity Blacks in a hard core urban city setting "Brooklyn" irregardless of how you envision it. The show portrayed Uppity Blacks (education was never once mentioned in my comment, you put those words in my mouth) which was totally unrealistic especially to Brooklynites like me. Were you born and raised there? I didn't think so. Also real Black urbanites knew the Cosby Show for what it really was hoped to be, a so called feel good upbeat show to balance Good Times (Which was not a negative lifestyle in Black urban America, hard? yes, bad? no, that's how we lived) which many many many inner city Blacks actually could relate to because we lived it. J.J.s Hollywood Jewish producers embarrassing lip quivering prompt notwithstanding. Seriously they're just TV shows designed to invoke emotion and I have the freedom and right to make of it what I will. If you are in any way, shape or form offended by my right to comment on a Black forum by Black people about Black people, that's on you. Good day.

Kem, where did this happen?

Mississippi Officer Terminated. Do you think this was Excessive Force?

Mississippi police officer terminated for use of excessive force following troubling dashcam video showing him using a stun gun on a handcuffed suspect, then threatening the suspect a second time while he was on his knees. https://abcn.ws/2NPTWaP

Excessive force? Obviously. However I can't quantify exactly what transpired from the original alleged shoplifting scenario up until these cops needed to unnecessarily manhandle the suspect. My one concern is when the cop alighted from his cruiser and approached the van after stopping it, the van appeared to move forward which can be construed as technically resisting arrest without violence or fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer. There's no audio so I cannot make a judgement on what transpired as to any orders given by law enforcement officers and/or the suspect. Confusion? The tasing officer was rightfully terminated by a good chief and I hope the chief petitions the Mississippi State House to revoke the officers law enforcement certificate. If the "now arrestee" sustained any significant injuries due to the arrest the officer that tased him and the original arresting officer should be summarily charged with using excessive force, misconduct and a blatant violation of the arrestees civil rights and more so, failure to exercise due care in affecting an arrest of a non-violent suspect. As usual I see a number of Black officers on the scene just standing around. I think if enough Black cops would engage in some manner of in house physical counseling of violent White cops in the HQ locker rooms or better yet, in the HQ rear parking lot, this one sided spate of race based police brutality just might be seriously curtailed. Worked in NYC.

At worst it was passive resistance. He got out of the car and surrendered. When they cuffed him, it was over
