Boka Haram has taken root because the Nigerian government has refused to answer the needs of it's people. Then allowing oil interest to come in and disrupt, pollute and further corrupt the country and government. They are basically a lose coalition of the disgruntled, disenfranchised, radical Moslem and other interests. Radical Moslems were forced into this coalition by the reaction of the people and government to their ( Northern Moslem ) support of terrorists acts. Nigeria is attempting to modernize. They view radical Moslems as counter to that goal. The problem is, only a small group is benefitting from the oil wealth.

Sounds like the black misleadership of de'twa.

  • Harriette Tubman did something (She was a woman)

  • Rosa Parks refused to accept the status quo, she did something revolutionary at the time

These two women were brave enough to make a mark in history. They sacrificed and were FEARLESS. What are black men doing. They seem not to have the balls to do anything in the USA or Africa....Shame on them. IF these women can achieve the leaders in Africa can. Martin Luther King did his part in the USA, he paved the road but it seems people are just sitting on it and not going anywhere.:(
Blacks in Africa and the USA are more educated now than before. The timidity must go and they must be willing to be brave to make things happen for black folks.
If Harriette Tubman were alive today I wonder what she would say...I guess she would just Shake her head.
Part of the reason we cannot get together is because you and those of your ilk dividing us with this feminist talk.

U.S. Drug War Expands to Africa, a Newer Hub for Cartels
By CHARLIE SAVAGE and THOM SHANKER
Published: July 21, 2012

WASHINGTON — In a significant expansion of the war on drugs, the United States has begun training an elite unit of counternarcotics police in Ghana and planning similar units in Nigeria and Kenya as part of an effort to combat the Latin American cartels that are increasingly using Africa to smuggle cocaine into Europe.
he growing American involvement in Africa follows an earlier escalation of antidrug efforts in Central America, according to documents, Congressional testimony and interviews with a range of officials at the State Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Pentagon.

"Some specialists have expressed skepticism about the approach. Bruce Bagley, a professor at the University of Miami who focuses on Latin America and counternarcotics, said that what had happened in West Africa over the past few years was the latest example of the “Whac-A-Mole” problem, in which making trafficking more difficult in one place simply shifts it to another.

“As they put on the pressure, they are going to detour routes, but they are not going to stop the flow, because the institutions are incredibly weak — I don’t care how much vetting they do,” Professor Bagley said. And there is always blowback to this. You start killing people in foreign countries — whether criminals or not — and there is going to be fallout.”"
Just what 'the doctor' ordered...
