Black Christians, don’t demonize African spirituality

written by Darnice Martin

African people in the United States have long been brainwashed to believe that Africa held nothing of value. Our long-established societies, cultures, religions and customs were presented as savage, heathen. We were told to be grateful for our enslavement. We were told that enslaved Christianity was better than living as free African people. We were terrorized into giving up our names and much of our spirituality.

Black Christians, your Bible tells you how important it is to honor the God of your fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Your Bible emphasizes that Jesus is of the house of King David. You are Christians because the Apostle Paul connected you to that ancestral line, though you were a gentile, and thus would otherwise have no seat at their Jewish family table.

Those connections are there because ancestral lineage matters. You have been told to respect other people’s ancestral stories, but to dismiss and even demonize your own. You are discouraged from even knowing about your African history. This is the insidious result of a white supremacist Christianity that permeates American soil.

You need to get your dates right though. African spirituality only goes as far back as the earliest African/Black civilization of which would be the same time period as the beginning of Christianity--starting with the ancestor Adam and Eve begins.

Whether is is White supremacist Christianity or Black spiruality; believers who killed each over in the earliest of times due to them welcoming White supremacist, we need to stop blaming it on religion but on the truth, in that we harbor Black disrespect and hatred of which goes way back in time.

I was watching the Olympic track and field competition the other day and I just happened to notice that the majority of black athletes when interviewed most would say first I want to give thanks to jesus their lord and savior and athletes from other ethnic groups never once made a reference regarding giving thanks to any type of entity. Most of them took full credit for all the hard work that they had put in and it was finally paying off. Maybe they'll burn in Purgatory, I don't know.
Then I thought to myself, yeah man, you know as far back as I can remember black folks were always giving thanks to their lord and savior jesus christ and all praises and glory to their so-called god.
Now I ask, why in the heck is that? Never mind, don't answer it, I'll answer it for you, ( Because they have been brainwashed and Indoctrinated into believing in a fallacy and they are afraid to cast any doubt on this dogma and doctrine or question it ) . We have been taught to be humble and docile and not to take credit for our own accomplishments. Be they great or small. One needs to recognize that we are all endowed with certain abilities and the harder that we (not jesus) works at those abilities the greater we will become.. That essence of greatness resides in all of us and I will tell you that it does not come from a fabricated christian god or savior.

Doctrine ( a belief or set of beliefs held and taught by a church, political party, or other group )

Dogma ( a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true ) This my friends is the foundation of The Christian Religion which by the way was established and built by actions of unspeakable horrors and crimes against humanity.

"Maybe they'll burn in Purgatory, I don't know."

What is your definition of Purgatory?

" We have been taught to be humble and docile and not to take credit for our own accomplishments."

I believe that we should take credit for knowing and professing the truth and stop ignoring the ancient history of Black-on-Black Hatred and violence towards each other, so much so, that the White dominant Roman Empire was able to set up and completely dominate Black people long before Jesus Christ was even presented! Long before even the Roman Empire the White Greeks completely dominated over Egypt since the 300s BC. We need to profess the whole truth.

" I will tell you that it does not come from a fabricated christian god or savior."

Unfortunately, Black people have too much disrespect for each other majority wise, and only a minority of Black people respect each other, therefore, they will always be outnumbered. So therefire, without Jesus, our savior, we are doomed.

Jesus is not an historical figure. He is for all practical purposes a copy from the story of The Babylonian Christ. In the British museum, today there is an ancient tablet dating back to about 2000 BCE well before the life of Jesus.
This Babylonian tablet tells of a story dating some 2000 years before Jesus therefore The Christian Passion story is just a copy of The Babylonian story. Below you will find the undeniable similarities of both stories...
The Assyrian-Babylonian Bel Myth Parallels to the Christian Jesus Myth

4. The Judgment Against Bel4. The Judgment Against Jesus
5. Water Is Brought to the Building for the Washing of Hands5. Pilate Washes His Hands [St. Matthew 27:24]
6. The Scourging of Bel6. The Scourging of Jesus
7. A Criminal Condemned to Die with Bel Is Released7. Criminals Are Condemned to Die with Jesus; Barrabas Is Released

You folks may also want to pick up a copy of the book (Christianity Before Christ) there have been many Christ figures before this so-called Jesus.

"Jesus is not an historical figure. "

He was dated to have a birthdate and existed during the Roman Empire times, of course, he is an historical figure.

"
. The Arrest of Bel [In the Month of Nisan-- April]1. The Arrest of Jesus [In the Month of April]
"

LOL. Jesus was not arrested in April in the month of Nisan! You are believing lies presented to you by White Supremacist/Anti-Christians. That is NOT what the scriptures state!

"
The Trial of Bel2. The Trial of Jesus
"

What date? There are many 'Bel' figures but I don't recall a Bel on trial in the historical time period you refer to.

"
3. A Priest/Judge Asks "What is his sin?"3. Pilate Asks "What evil has he done?" [St. Matthew 27:23]
"

The word 'sin' is very crucial in understanding that time period and does not equal your version of Pilate's question. The word 'sin' during that time period refers to 'Idolatry from the land of Sin' which is the origin of White Supremacy. Jesus was on trial under the Roman Empire--a White dominated empire government that set up in Black lands. No, this is a confusion.

Here is another Savior God that existed before the Jesus savior god
This particular Savior God god is Krishna who existed somewhere around 3000 years ago give or take.

Despite their differences, Hinduism and Christianity have great similarities. And this is particularly prominent in the case of the life and teachings of the two central figures of these world religions — Christ and Krishna.

The Christ-Krishna Connection

Hinduism and Christianity have many things in common

Similarities in just the names of 'Christ' and 'Krishna' have enough fuel for the curious mind to prod into the proposition that they were indeed one and the same person. Although there is little historical evidence, it is hard to ignore a host of likenesses between Jesus Christ and Lord Krishna. Analyze this!

Jesus Christ and Lord Krishna

  • Both are believed to be sons of God since they were divinely conceived
  • The birth of both Jesus of Nazareth and Krishna of Dwarka and their God-designed missions were foretold
  • Both were born in unusual places — Christ in a lowly manger and Krishna in a prison cell
  • Both were divinely saved from death pronouncements
  • Evil forces pursued both Christ and Krishna in vain
  • Christ is often depicted as a shepherd; Krishna was a cowherd
  • Both appeared at a critical time when their respective countries were in a torpid state
  • Both died of wounds caused by sharp weapons — Christ by nails and Krishna by an arrow
  • The teachings of both are very similar — both emphasize love and peace
  • Krishna was often shown as having a dark blue complexion — a color close to that of Christ Consciousness https://www.learnreligions.com/christ-krishna-connection-1770450 https://www.webpages.uidaho.edu/ngier/KrishnaChrist.htm

No, again, your dates are completely off target! 3000 years ago, would be about 1000s BC and the modern versions of Krishna was adapted around the AD 500s; that 500 years after Jesus became an historical figure. The major festivals that include Krishna was adapted based on people from the fall of Rome that eventually migrated into India around, AD 500s.

Sister Chevron, I know it is quite a bit to swallow and very difficult to digest after being so devoutly committed to something only to find out that it is nothing but pure fabrication. One of the primary tools of this religion ( Christianity) besides fear is is to completely brainwash ( Indoctrinate ) it's followers, so I completely understand the confusion. It's like man, I can't believe that I have been lied to for so so long.. But it is like I have said before ( It is easy to tell a lie to someone who wants to believe it ). The world is full of people who even in the face of contradiction will vigorously and faithfully stand behind and defend that lie. Why, you don't even have to go back very far in American history to see this. Just take a look at this past presidential election. Thank you for sharing your thoughts sister Chevron.
