What's there to talk about?I'm curious as to why so few people have replied or contributed to this thread. Let's not be divided in our thinking or treatment of each other. Let's take the opportunity to better understand each other and close the Mid-Atlantic gap once and for all. Thirteen percent of the U.S. population being of Black African descent is powerful. More and more Africans throughout the world are speaking English now and with the miracle of modern medical technology (DNA testing), our hope of finding our African ancestors might be possible after all. So, cultural appropriating among each other--not possible. We all originate from the African continent. Intercultural literacy can be taught and learned.
