There's a lot to digest on this thread. Many men are creeps, period. Ask females, but not one who is desperate for a male companion.
Black women outnumber eligible Black men by a 3-2 margin. This means a Black man has an advantage. Who's not eligible for a woman? Ask them. But they'll probably fall into the following categories:
1) Unequivocally gay
2) Jobless or homeless
3) Possessing a substance abuse problem
4) Has children, but does not interact with them much
It's not that 20% of Blacks may have voted for Trump. It's that 20% of Blacks have shown that they would gladly allow the suffering of the other 80% as long as they are comfortable and satisfied with material things.
Before the actual voting began, I predicted that many younger Black men would defect to Trump. And someone wants to ask such ones why? It's kind of silly when we already know why. Now, I'm 68, so I mean men between 21 and 35.
They have decided in their minds that our struggle is too much for them. They have concluded that running from their responsibilities to our people is the safest path for them. Some have even chosen to be dogmatic about it and lord it over us.
We do not need to have a talk with them. If they were not moved by the sight of Black families losing their homes, apartments and jobs in this failing economy, if they were not motivated to stand and fight back as our race came under increasing siege from Trump and his cronies, why would you want a conversation with them?
Listen and read their words and excuses carefully. And in them you will detect disdain for those we lose, those who suffer and those who press on in our behalf.
