After The SOMALI MASSACRE, Should We Sell More Arms To The Saudis?

Earlier this month, a dramatic event occurred in the war in Yemen that could even shock those numbed by the continued pace of civilian casualties.

A military craft and helicopter reportedly engaged in an attack on a boat carrying over 140 Somali refugees killing upward of 42 people on board; despite initially conflicting accounts, the evidence points to the Saudi-led coalition ...

The Saudi Government will never have to answer for this as they are more valuable to American interest then Somalia could ever be. On a more technical note the Middle East Theater of Military Operations is so saturated with all classes of radar from every nation that any airborne or seaborne platform is detected, recognized and tracked from origin to destination. So it's not like this happened in secret. The Legal Councils warning will never override the State Departments American foreign policy objective of either supplying an officially UN recognized standing government against insurgency with NATO approved weapons, training and logistical support. Any use, misuse and abuse of said support against citizens of of an adversary or another nation not in conflict must be reported to the UN Security Council and The War Crimes Commission by the aggrieved party only. Of course this edict doesn't apply to American made weapons donated to Israeli in it's blatant ethnic cleansing campaign of Palestinians anywhere in the West Bank from Hebron to Nablus and Jordan on any given day.

Well said ... I can't wait to see this planned "state of war" Somalia's president has put together, against the al-Shabab extremist group(s). More than prayer is needed to offset the current death rate

Okay I'm playing catch up here. So now Somali citizens were the victims of a bombing by al-Shabab too? When will this madness ever end?

Yup!

"This pain will last for years," said a sheikh leading the Friday prayers at the bombing site, as long lines of mourners stood in front of flattened or tangled buildings.

Strong Evidence that U.S. Special Operations Forces Massacred Civilians in Somalia
An investigation by The Daily Beast on the ground in Somalia appears to confirm that American soldiers were involved directly in the deaths of 10 innocent civilians

MOGADISHU, Somalia — It was around five in the morning when Abdullahi Elmi heard the gunfire, sitting in his small home in Bariire, in southern Somalia, the farm administrator had been recording the names of the laborers who had worked the day before. Stacks of accounting books sprawled on the floor around him. Across the room, his wife sat with their three-year-old son who dozed as his mother rocked him back and forth in her arms ...
