Yes, brutha was on point with everything he said.

"You rape our women, but kill us for looking at yours"....

This piece shows the confounding nature of many whites. They left us to fin for ourselves, and when we did....AKA Black Wall Street... they just could handle the truth that we had achieved a level of living that many of them didn't have.

Garvey said it best:

"Up, you mighty race, accomplish what you will"

Trapped myself...not in the least bit, but you've fallen into yours.

This is poetry, and I didn't say site, I said forum. IMo, you two were beefin, beefin leads to fratricide. It put a pall over a forum that was created to showcase creativity. You can engage in your vocal javelin, all I asked is that it was done by the rules which it wasn't. And because it wasn't I suggested that you two take it private. I know how it is when you have something on your chest that you gotta get off. But there is a time and place for everything, and this forum is not the place for settling gripes.

Here's sumtin for your edification: You say that this video isn't poetry, well maybe you don't know what poetry is. Just because a person can change a tire doesn't make them a mechanic, it just means they know something pertaining to a larger picture.

Poetry is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of language—such as phonaesthetics, sound symbolism, and metre—to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, the prosaic ostensible meaning.

1) Is the video a form of literature? No, it is a vehicle that is used to present it to you.
2) Is there rhythmic qualities of language? Yes, it's replete with it.
3) Does it evoke meanings? Yes, for example, "you rape our women but kill us for looking at yours"

Sounds like poetry to me.
