She’s like God to them
She’s righteous which is odd to them
Her disciples ready to assemble
Would wash her feet to get inside of her temple
Men read her words like the bible
Want her to be a wife without the title
In the form of a female
Worship her because of perception...
i didnt think id get this kinda response, i appreciate the love. I have been wantin to write something like this for awhile, but I couldnt find the words. And then they just poof! hit me. Thanks yall, much luv n respect.
Land of the free; Home of the brave
A country known for freedom and yet we started out as slaves
I mean look at our community
when will we find unity?
It sucks knowin the whole world thinks we're dumb
Becuz we have the highest dropout rates with the lowest income
We see too many people...
I'm not perfect
Not close enough to touch it
well, unless Im touching you
Even with your mistakes in life
I still find correction
in your smile
your sway that resembles beauty
I could watch you walk miles
But that is a different story
Even when you take my nerve
and twist it around...
I could slow myself
And move to your rhythm
Needless to say
Women would kill
for your beauty
for your wisdom
And I would die
to be a part of it
you are everything
I am not
And thats what makes me
want you even more
makes me fall...
Down one day, up the next
A life story never written down in text
But I'm still living and learning... building and crashing
I wish I knew the reason behind my actions
Frustrated completely, but I'm remaining calm
Lord, sometimes I wish you could carry me in your palm
Secure me in your...
I am a lost soul in need of direction
You are the arrow pointing me to peace
Boxed in by my surroundings
But conversing with you is my release
My fresh breath of air
My match in the darkest hour
At times Im too weak to continue
But you love has become my power
Teardrops fall like rain...
