    I agree that Black people should exercise their right to vote but the 2016 presidential election was an eye-opening experience for me in that I was extremely disappointed and unenthusiastic with both major party nominees. So for me, voting is secondary to becoming a political activist first, by getting involved in local and state politics and making sure that "good" candidates that we can support are running for office. A lot of people were made to believe that it would take a long time for change to happen in our political system. I think the current administration is proving that to be a false notion. You just have to play by a different set of rules and have the guts to move the political needle.

    Also, the guy in the video didn't just start thinking like that when Trump got elected. Is Voting going to stop his mouth from moving or him thinking differently? No. America needs to seriously have an open and frequent conversation about race, racism and racist behavior.
